Noun:
A noun is a disordered word that denotes the name of an object, a feeling or a living being, that is, the name of a living being, object, place, feeling is called a noun. Some examples of noun sentences are given below:
Ram is an intelligent child. This book is his. Cook food in brass utensils. I love him. There is a bunch of grapes lying on the table.
Pronoun:
Words that come in place of nouns are called pronouns. Like: you, us, you, his, etc. Pronoun comes in place of noun. Pronoun is formed by combining 2 words: pronoun, it means that the name which is suitable in place of the word is called pronoun. Example: He is Mohan. In this sentence the word he is a pronoun. Which is present in place of the person’s name. If understood in other words, pronouns are those words which are used in place of nouns i.e. the name of a person, thing, place, etc.
This includes words like I, you, yours, yours, this, that, it, we, ours, etc.
Adjective:
The meaning of the word adjective is – a word that informs or reveals the specialty of the adjective. Words that describe nouns or pronouns are called adjectives. Like- small boy, fat boy, beautiful picture, fair complexion.
Verb:
The word which conveys the idea of doing or happening any action is called a verb. In Sanskrit the verb form is called dhatu. In Hindi, ‘Na’ sounds with these metals. Examples of verbs: Eating, playing, laughing, crying.
Difference between noun, pronoun, adjective and verb.
The difference between noun, pronoun, adjective and verb is explained below:
1. Noun is the name of an object, person, place, quality, etc. Nouns have their own gender. Pronouns do not have their own gender. Nouns indicate the location of a particular person, thing or place.
2. Pronoun is a word used in place of a noun. Pronoun In an independent state, it does not indicate any specific person, thing or place.
3. Adjectives are words that give some information about a noun or pronoun. Verbs are words that describe a noun or pronoun. Adjective is related to noun or pronoun. How Adjectives are revealed by questions like ‘what kind’, ‘who’, ‘how many’.
4. Adverbs tell the characteristics or functions.
5. Verb is related to doing action. Fighting, eating, drinking, sleeping, crying, laughing reveal verbs.
